Step Inside...
Mill Barn is an impressive and spacious self-catering cottage that’s perfect for relaxing family farm holidays in Cornwall.
Carefully converted from the farm’s historic grain store, the barn’s large living space is upstairs to take advantage of the magnificent views. And with its vaulted ceiling and old oak beams it really does have the wow factor.
Enjoy long lazy breakfasts in the farmhouse-style kitchen which is large enough to all comfortably gather. And spend cosy evenings ensconced around the fire and embark on an epic battle of Monopoly. Or maybe just catch up on a box-set on Netflix.
Beyond lies the snug, beloved by teenagers and small children alike, with its large corner sofa and tv just calling out for movie and popcorn nights.
Downstairs are three comfortable double bedrooms. All are cocooned within the thick stone walls and adorned with luxury Egyptian cotton bedding. Two bathrooms, one with a large roll-top bath, means there’s no queuing in the mornings.
Outside meanwhile, in the gin-gang where horses once circled endlessly to power the threshing machine, now more leisurely pursuits are to be enjoyed. Long lazy lunches and family bbqs. And evenings around the fire pit, wrapped in blankets, toasting marshmallows and catching up with each others’ lives.
